A large and diverse public sector organisation is seeking an experienced trainer to support the rollout of a new HR self-service platform ahead of a major organisational go-live in November. This is not a traditional systems trainer role. Whilst experience with HR systems, payroll platforms or self-service technology would be beneficial, the organisation's priority is finding an engaging and energetic trainer who can confidently deliver high volumes of interactive virtual training sessions to a diverse workforce. The successful candidate will become the face of the programme, working closely with HR, Payroll and IT teams to deliver training to employees and managers across the organisation. You will be responsible for creating a positive learning experience, helping users navigate the new platform and driving successful adoption at scale. The training schedule, course content and supporting materials have already been developed, allowing the successful candidate to focus on delivery, engagement and user support rather than content creation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Employee Self Service (ESS) and Manager Self Service (MSS) training sessions via Microsoft Teams
• Facilitate engaging and interactive virtual training sessions for groups of up to 20 attendees
• Guide users through key HR self-service functionality and processes
• Create a positive and engaging learning experience for users of varying technical ability
• Respond confidently to questions and challenges during live training sessions
• Support user adoption, engagement and change activities throughout the rollout
• Work closely with HR, Payroll and Technology teams during go-live preparation and delivery
• Provide post-go-live user support and hypercare assistance

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience delivering engaging virtual training sessions
• Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills
• Confident managing diverse audiences ranging from frontline staff to senior stakeholders
• Able to maintain energy and engagement across multiple training sessions per day
• Strong customer focus with the ability to build confidence and trust quickly
• Experience supporting digital adoption, change or system implementation programmes
• Comfortable handling questions, interruptions and differing levels of system knowledge
• Available to commit fully throughout the training and go-live period

Desirable Experience:

• HR systems training experience
• Employee Self Service (ESS) and Manager Self Service (MSS) platforms
• Payroll or HR technology environments
• Digital adoption, change management or learning and development background
• Experience delivering Microsoft Teams-based training
• Public sector or local government experience
