Senior Network Engineer (interim)

Our client - Central Government - is seeking the addition of an experienced Senior Network Engineer on an interim basis.

Key skills/experience:

• Senior network engineer with strong enterprise experience, comfortable owning complex issues end-to-end
• Solid all-round networking background - routing, Firewalls, switching, wireless and load-balancing across different vendor platforms
• Confident designing and supporting resilient, secure networks across on-prem and cloud environments
• Strong automation mindset - Scripting and tooling experience (eg Ansible, Python, PowerShell) to reduce manual work and improve reliability
• Used to working with modern collaboration and ITSM tools (Jira, Confluence) in a process driven environment

The onsite working pattern is hybrid (3 days pw onsite, Scotland).
