This is a unique opportunity to lead the transformation of the council’s application landscape at one of London’s most ambitious boroughs. You will play a pivotal role in shaping how technology supports frontline services, empowers staff and improves outcomes for more than 300,000 residents.

- l:Lead Southwark’s Applications function, overseeing a portfolio of critical business systems, business intelligence, GIS and data integration services that underpin the delivery of council service
- s.Develop and deliver the council’s applications strategy, ensuring systems are modern, secure, resilient and aligned to wider organisational and digital transformation objective
- s.Drive the optimisation and transformation of key applications, identifying opportunities to improve services, increase efficiency and maximise the value of technology investmen
- t.Build strong partnerships with senior leaders across the organisation, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring technology solutions support current and future business need
- s.Lead and develop a high-performing team while managing significant programmes, suppliers, contracts and budgets to deliver successful outcomes across a complex technology environmen
