The Role
As part of our continued growth, we’re seeking an experienced Commercial Service Manager to lead client relationships, drive account expansion and champion service excellence.
Your primary mission will be to help customers unlock the full value of their digital investments—particularly across Salesforce and AWS—by strengthening partnerships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering innovative, high-impact solutions across a range of sectors.
As part of our continued growth, we have identified a need for an experienced and skilled Commercial Service Manager to work with our delivery teams to further develop and grow our customer base, with a particular focus on Salesforce and AWS platforms.
The key focus of the role is to help our customers unlock the full potential of their digital investments, drive account growth and deliver customer success, achieved by working closely to expand and enhance relationships through innovation and service excellence across a variety of sectors and technologies.

Key Role Responsibilities Include:
- Customer Success - Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring strong ongoing relationships, high satisfaction, and renewal success.
- Service Alignment - Collaborate closely with delivery and managed service teams to ensure efficient and continued service excellence.
- Account Growth - Building and maintaining strong long term client relationships. Identifying upsell/cross sell opportunities across all platforms.
- Advisory Support - Guide customers on optimisation, innovation, and roadmap planning to align technology with strategic business outcomes.
- Sector focused Insight - Understand customer challenges in a variety of sectors like transport, social housing, healthcare - applying Alscient’s sector expertise.
You will have:
- Significant and proven experience (5+ years) in a client facing Commercial Service Management or Managed Service role within a technology consulting or cloud partner environment.
- Demonstrable record of growing service accounts and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Understanding of Salesforce multi-cloud and AWS capabilities.
- Evidence of strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to translate business needs into technical solutions leveraging the team around you.
- A Proactive, solution orientated mindset and collaborative team working style.
- A familiarity with ITSM frameworks and experience working in environments aligned to ITIL best practices.
Highly desirable attributes include:
- Familiarity with public sector, social housing, transport, or healthcare environments.
- A solid understanding of ITSM principles and practices, with experience working in ITIL-aligned environments.
- Knowledge of Salesforce multi-cloud and/or AWS capabilities, and how they drive business value.
