You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of test and measurement equipment used within a highly regulated engineering environment. Working within test and instrumentation facilities, you will support calibration activities, measurement assurance, and the maintenance of metrology standards across a variety of projects, including military programmes.Location: BristolOn Site: HybridClearance: ClearableExperience Level: Mid to Senior (5-15 years of experience)Key Responsibilities: Perform calibration and metrology activities on test and measurement equipmentMaintain calibration records and ensure compliance with applicable standards and proceduresSupport test environments through the verification, maintenance, and management of instrumentationInvestigate measurement discrepancies and implement corrective actions where requiredEnsure traceability of measurements to national and international standardsSupport audits and continuous improvement initiatives related to calibration and metrology processesQualificationsRequired Skills: Proven experience in calibration and metrology engineeringStrong understanding of measurement principles and uncertainty analysisExperience working with test equipment and instrumentationKnowledge of calibration processes for mechanical and/or electrical measurement systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work within highly regulated engineering environmentsRequired Qualifications: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalentmilitary experience.Between 4 and 10 years of experience in calibration, metrology, or test engineeringExperience working with measurement systems and laboratory or test environmentsDesirable Skills: Experience supporting aerospace, defence, automotive, or other highly regulated industriesKnowledge of ISO 17025 or related calibration standardsFamiliarity with military quality requirements and compliance processesExperience with automated test systems and data acquisition equipmentAdditional InformationWhy join us?
