Financial Accountant
Financial Accountant | £350 to £450 per day | initial 6-month contract, immediately available candidates only
Altum Consulting are partnering with a well-established technology business, seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to support the finance team through audit on an initial 6-month contract.
This is a hands-on BAU role suited to a recently qualified accountant looking to gain further exposure within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting the year-end and external audit process
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Assisting with statutory accounts and financial reporting
- Managing month-end close activities
- Liaising with auditors and key internal stakeholders
- Supporting BAU financial accounting activities across the team
- Ensuring strong financial controls and compliance processes are maintained
- ACA, ideally trained within a Big 4 firm
- 1-2 years PQE
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Previous experience supporting audits and year-end processes
- Netsuite experience preferable
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
