Group Accountant
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Group Accountant to join a high-growth technology organisation that is going through a period of growth.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will play a key role in delivering accurate group reporting, supporting the month-end close process, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements across multiple entities. Key Responsibilities- Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts and group financial reports.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities.
- Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal accounting policies.
- Lead balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support the annual audit process.
- Partner with finance teams across the business to improve reporting accuracy and consistency.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to finance transformation projects.
- Assist with acquisitions, integrations, and other strategic finance projects as the business continues to expand.
- ACA/CA Qualified (ideally audit background)
- Experience in a Group Accountant, Financial Accountant, or Audit role within a large or fast-growing organisation.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and consolidated financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Workday is advantageous.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders across finance and the wider business.
