Group Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Group Accountant to join a high-growth technology organisation that is going through a period of growth.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will play a key role in delivering accurate group reporting, supporting the month-end close process, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements across multiple entities. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts and group financial reports.
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities.
  • Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal accounting policies.
  • Lead balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and support the annual audit process.
  • Partner with finance teams across the business to improve reporting accuracy and consistency.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to finance transformation projects.
  • Assist with acquisitions, integrations, and other strategic finance projects as the business continues to expand.
About You
  • ACA/CA Qualified (ideally audit background)
  • Experience in a Group Accountant, Financial Accountant, or Audit role within a large or fast-growing organisation.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and consolidated financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Workday is advantageous.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders across finance and the wider business.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach with a desire to improve processes and add value.
