About the Project
A global, not-for-profit organisation is seeking an experienced Business Analyst/ Consultant with strong expertise in NetSuite to support its business operations, particularly in finance-related workflows. This role involves close collaboration with Finance stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define user stories, and support testing and implementation activities.
The position forms part of a wider remediation initiative and plays a key role in ensuring the NetSuite platform continues to meet evolving business needs. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities and a solid understanding of financial operations in a technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with business users and stakeholders to gather and document comprehensive business requirements for NetSuite and BigCommerce platforms.
- Translate business needs into clear and actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios, aligned with Agile methodologies.
- Ensure all requirements are complete, consistent, and aligned with organisational objectives.
- Collaborate with development teams to refine and prioritise the product backlog.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Lead and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure platform changes meet business requirements.
- Identify, escalate, and help mitigate risks and issues that may impact scope, quality, or timelines.
- Provide training and support to business users to encourage adoption of the NetSuite platform.
- Maintain strong alignment with Finance operations, including product, order, inventory, customer management, and reporting.
- Utilise tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Trello for documentation and collaboration.
Required Skills & Experience
- Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on NetSuite.
- Experience with BigCommerce or similar eCommerce platforms (e.g. Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and operations.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite customisation, including themes, apps, APIs, and integrations.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery models and practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
