The Role

The Senior Director, Group Consolidation & Reporting will design, implement, and oversee the entire global consolidation framework. This role requires someone who enjoys building from scratch, shaping structure, and working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver accurate, compliant, and insightful group-level reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Group Consolidation & Reporting

  • Build and implement the global consolidation framework, including policies, processes, and reporting standards
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation across multiple international entities
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and relevant local GAAPs
  • Drive automation and systems implementation to support scalability
  • Deliver high-quality consolidated financial statements and leadership reporting
  • Process Design & Control
  • Develop and maintain internal controls across intercompany eliminations, FX translation, and consolidation adjustments
  • Create a consistent global reporting framework
  • Provide documentation and training for regional accounting teams
  • Audit, Compliance & Governance
  • Act as the primary point of contact for group-level external audits
  • Support statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements relating to consolidation
  • Ensure consistent accounting policies across all regions
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with FP&A, Tax, and regional accounting teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness of results
  • Support investor and board reporting with consolidation insights
  • Promote best practice in group reporting across the organisation

Leadership

  • Hire, mentor, and develop a small consolidation and reporting team
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational scalability
  • Advise senior leadership on financial structure and consolidation matters

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
  • 10+ years' experience in consolidation and financial reporting
  • Proven leadership experience in a multi-entity, international environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and consolidation principles
  • Experience with financial systems implementation (e.g., NetSuite, OneStream)
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
