Senior SOX Analyst (Finance and IT Controls)

Location: London (2-3 days per week in the office)Day Rate: £500-£550 per day (Outside IR35)Duration: 6 months (initial)

A high-growth, well-funded business progressing toward a public listing is seeking a Senior SOX Analyst with a financial and IT controls focus.

This role sits in the second line of defence and will support the build-out of a SOX-compliant control framework from the ground up, in an environment where processes are still being defined.

• Design and implement SOX controls across financial and IT processes

• Build and document control frameworks aligned to evolving business processes

• Work with finance and technology teams to ensure controls are practical and scalable

• Support the development of IT general controls (ITGCs) and financial reporting controls

• Partner with stakeholders to embed a consistent control environment

• Support SOX readiness activity ahead of a potential listing

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)

• Experience working within a SOX framework (second line of defence)

• Strong understanding of financial controls and IT SOX (including ITGCs)

• Experience designing and implementing controls in a changing environment

• Comfortable working in a hands-on capacity

• Able to work in London a couple of times per week
