About the Position
The Account Executive will join with full support from leadership and will play a critical role in driving growth in the public sector (local government) covering the UK with accounts of up to 2k users in size. This opportunity is ideal for a sales professional with a proven track record of success who is ready to make an impact in the cloud and cybersecurity market. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in aligning business solutions to complex security challenges and is motivated by winning competitive market share. This role will suit someone from a BDR background or Inside Sales that has made the step into a quota carrying role, and is looking for their next step.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new accounts, generating interest and closing business.
- Work independently to achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets.
- Create and execute comprehensive account strategies within assigned territory/accounts.
- Drive new account acquisition, customer satisfaction, and retention.
Requirements
- 2+ years of successful experience selling cybersecurity and networking technologies (e.g., Proxies, NGFW, SSL/IPSec, VPN, SSO, DLP, adjacent technologies).
- Track record selling cybersecurity software into the Public Sector either vendor or reseller.
- Consistent history of exceeding annual sales quotas.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain strong Channel Partner relationships; existing reseller connections in the territory are essential.
- Solid understanding of enterprise SaaS solutions.
Package to £150k OTE on a 50/50 split plus strong benefits package + RSU
