EMEA Central Government Director

Currently partnered with Series B Attack Surface Management Vendor looking for a Director for Central Government Sales in EMEA (Germany, UK, Netherlands & France). They've generated more than 100% revenue than the previous year selling their Enterprise Offensive solution globally. You will own and drive sales of their solutions into European government agencies, CERTs, NCSCs, CNIs, and MoDs across EMEA.
Responsibilities
- Develop net new business and execute a strategic sales plan to acquire and grow accounts within central government, and public institutions most critical to protecting their native countries.
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing multi-year, six and seven-figure deals in the public sector.
- Engage senior government officials, C-level executives in security agencies and decision-makers in CERTs, NCSCs, CNIs, and MoDs
- Work collaboratively with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless client experience tailored to public sector needs.
- Manage complex sales cycles, including Proof of Concepts, government procurement processes, security compliance requirements, and negotiation with public entities.
- Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets focused on public sector growth.
Qualifications
- 4–7 years of experience selling cyber security solutions to government, CERTs, NCSCs, CNIs, or MoDs, ideally within attack surface management, threat exposure management, or SIEM.
- Proven success in public sector sales with a track record of closing large, complex deals involving government procurement and compliance.
- Self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguity, bureaucratic processes, and execute in a high-growth environment.
- Strong understanding of the cyber security landscape in the public sector, including industry frameworks (e.g., NIS Directive, GDPR), attack vectors targeting critical infrastructure, and threat actor behaviours relevant to national security.
- Sales Experience in Attack Surface management, Threat Intelligence or SIEM
- Existing network in European public sector sales.
Location: 100% remote, can be based in any country in EMEA
