Sales Engineer - Attack Surface Management - EMEA (United Kingdom)

About the Company - Altura Partners Vendor practice are currently partnered with a Series A Attack Surface Management Vendor with $20m in funding, are looking to bring in their 3rd Sales Engineer in EMEA, can be based in UK, Germany or Italy . Ideally somebody who has an offensive security background with presales experience to join a global team of 100.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the EMEA (France, UK, Italy, German) sales team to provide technical and domain expertise for specific opportunities, develop account strategies, and uncover additional business opportunities
  • Develop and deliver demonstrations of their platform tailored to a specific customer’s business and use case
  • Own the technology evaluation stage of the sales process with our prospects of various technical levels
  • Develop documentation and workflows specific to a customer’s implementation plan
  • Lead tailored product workshops and deep dives in key accounts
  • Analyze feature requests from customers and prospects and provide feedback to our engineering and product management teams to help orient the product roadmap
  • Provide technical perspective on active deals and help accurately forecast deals
  • Support marketing by evangelizing their product in general at trade shows, conferences, and webinars
  • Stay on top of industry news and developments to provide and maintain a deep industry and domain expertise

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of presales experience selling cyber security software in either; VM, Threat Exposure, ASM, Pentesting, Application Security, Security Automation or Cloud Security solutions
  • 2+ years of application security experience, understand security fundamentals and common vulnerabilities (e.g. OWASP Top Ten).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and demonstration skills. This role requires you to understand and articulate our platform's business value and technical advantages.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, sometimes nebulous, fast-paced startup environment and experience at a successful startup
  • Passionate about technical sales and working with prospective buyers and customers to understand their business and challenges
