As growth continues, they are looking for a Lead Data & AI Platform Engineer to help shape the next phase of their technology capability.

This role combines hands-on engineering, technical leadership, architecture, and client engagement. You'll work closely with engineering teams, consultants, and senior client stakeholders to design and deliver scalable data and AI platforms while helping define the technical standards that underpin future growth.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading the design and delivery of modern cloud-based data and AI platforms
• Building scalable data architectures and engineering solutions across enterprise environments
• Developing robust data pipelines and frameworks that support analytics, machine learning, and AI applications
• Working alongside data scientists, software engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Supporting the deployment and operationalisation of AI capabilities within production environments
• Providing technical leadership across project teams and mentoring less experienced engineers
• Driving engineering best practices across platform design, scalability, reliability, and security
• Contributing to the evolution of the firm's technical capability and long-term technology strategy
• Acting as a trusted advisor to clients on data platform and engineering challenges

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience designing and building modern data platforms in cloud environments
• Expertise in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering
• Strong Python and SQL capabilities
• Experience working with large-scale data processing technologies and modern data architectures
• Exposure to AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics environments
• Proven ability to lead technical workstreams and influence stakeholders
• Strong communication skills and an ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes
• Previous consulting or client-facing experience is advantageous but not essential
