Senior Solution Architect - ITS, GSI & ITS Vertical

Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) at AWS focuses on driving revenue, adoption, and growth across large to enterprise customers, including the public sector. AWS Solutions Architects are trusted advisors who design and advise on scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud solutions to solve complex business challenges. You will work with internal teams to understand customer needs, push technology boundaries, and help customers scale with AWS as building blocks. You will engage with Emerging companies across various Verticals in India, partnering with customers early in their cloud journey and helping them scale, while making a visible, measurable impact on their growth ambitions. You will challenge conventional thinking to help customers and AWS achieve more than they thought possible.

• Work directly with customers to accelerate their business outcomes and recommend best-practice cloud architectures aligned with their long-term needs.
• Drive technical solutions discussions, diving deep into details to solve complex problems and craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures.
• Scope and own customer engagements with clear objectives and success criteria.
• Work backwards from the customer's business needs to accelerate adoption of the most appropriate AWS technology.
• Define and execute strategy by engaging highly technical teams (Solutions Architects, Technical Account Managers, AWS professional services consultants, and partners).
• Act as a thought leader by educating, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers/blogs, and running workshops.
• Share the voice of the customer to influence AWS feature/ service roadmaps and collaborate across the organization to evolve the platform.
• Serve as a key technical member of the Solutions Architecture team, influencing decision-makers across domains to ensure customer success in building applications and services on AWS.

Solutions Architects are experienced technologists with breadth and depth, working with a diverse set of SMB customers across industries such as FSI, Retail, IT/ITES, and Media & Entertainment. You'll design cloud-based architectures, challenge customers to think differently, and help them build elegant, transformative solutions. You'll own the overall technical relationship between customers and AWS, making recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency. You'll collaborate with account management, professional services, support, product teams, and the AWS partner ecosystem to guide customers toward business value with technology.

• Bachelor's degree
• 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience
• Experience working with end user or developer communities
• Experience working with Gen AI/ML technologies and building solutions for customers
