Overview

We are seeking an experienced Security Business Analyst to join us on a 12-month FTC, supporting a key central government client. This role will play a critical part in supporting the post go-live service design, testing, and transition of Security Architecture and Security Management & Assurance service lines. You will work closely with security, architecture, and delivery teams to ensure services are robust, compliant, and fully operational.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of detailed service design documentation, including processes, procedures, operating models, and performance measures
  • Assist in defining and documenting: Security architecture principles, standards, and governance frameworks
  • Access control models (e.g. IAM, SSO, RBAC)
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory and security standards (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, Secure by Design)
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) activities
  • Contribute to service transition planning, including acceptance criteria and readiness for live service
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure security services are scalable, compliant, and fit for purpose

Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Security Analyst or Business Analyst within complex environments
  • Strong experience in service process mapping and requirements definition
  • Knowledge of security standards and frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, Secure by Design)
  • Experience working within central government or secure environments
  • Experience supporting testing phases (UAT/OAT) and service transition

Desirable:

  • Experience working with large-scale Oracle ERP platforms
  • Knowledge of Oracle RBAC and RMC
