Technical Solutions Architect - active SC clearance required - remote - inside IR35

Amber Labs is a fast-growing UK Technology Consultancy delivering digital transformation across enterprise, government and regulated sectors. We specialise in Cloud, Data, Software Engineering and AI, helping organisations modernise how they build, deploy and operate technology.

We’re currently supporting a major engineering transformation within a large enterprise environment and are looking for a Senior Technical Architect with active SC to join the team.

As a Senior Technical Architect, you'll be experienced working with/on the following:

• Architecture design and modelling techniques, patterns, tools and standards.
• Event-based architecture design, patterns (including pub-sub and data streaming), modelling techniques, tools and standards.
• Public cloud technologies, cloud hosting, container, and networking design patterns, tools and best practices (AWS being most relevant here).
• Identity and Access Management and related technical standards.
• Justifying and communicating design decisions to various stakeholders
• Assuring other services and system quality, ensuring the technical work fits into the broader strategy for government.

The role is very much a remote first position but there may be occasional travel, no more than once every 1-2 months in Manchester or London.
