Application Support Engineer (Trading)

About the Company

We are working with a high-caliber and multinational hedge fund to recruit for trading application support talents.

Key Responsibilities :

• You will be responsible for the smooth operation of the company’s multi-process trading systems.
• You will gather requirements for, test, and implement changes to the internal systems.
• You will work with developers for software release, and with infrastructure teams.

Key Requirements :

• Minimum 5 years of experience in trading support
• Expertise in linux/unix, shell, and bash scripting
• Detailed practical knowledge of FIX and familiarity with native exchange protocols
• Experience in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL)
• Working knowledge with TCP/IP, multicast, tcpdump, clocking (PTP, NTP), and Kdb+ is a plus
• Strong analytical skills with attention to details
• Ability to handle stressful situations and excellent communication skills
