Do you?
Do you have experience maintaining and updating websites using CMS platforms such as Sitecore, WordPress, or Umbraco? Do you enjoy organising and publishing content online, making sure everything looks perfect and performs as it should? Are you detail-driven, technically confident, and proud of delivering accurate, well-formatted pages that align with brand standards? If so, this Website Executive role could be your perfect next step.
Our Customer
We’re delighted to be recruiting this Website Executive role for a multi-award-winning tour operator that’s one of the UK’s most trusted travel brands.
They craft exceptional holidays across the UK, Europe, and worldwide, blending authentic experiences with impeccable service. The company’s culture is collaborative, forward-thinking, and supportive — the kind of place where people grow and ideas matter.
As the Website Executive, you’ll enjoy a competitive salary, hybrid working, discounted holidays, and the chance to develop your digital skills within an inspiring travel brand.
(Please note: this is not a copywriting, social media, or content creation role — it focuses on uploading, formatting, and maintaining website content using a CMS.)
The Role
In this role, you’ll be the hands-on link between the creative content and the website. You’ll take supplied copy, imagery, and assets from the marketing and content teams and ensure it’s correctly built, published, and optimised across the website.
Key Responsibilities:
- Upload and publish new products, campaigns, and promotions in the CMS (Sitecore, WordPress, or Umbraco)
- Check pages before go-live, ensuring layout, links, and imagery are correct
- Maintain content accuracy across existing pages — fixing errors, broken links, or display issues
- Apply basic SEO best practices (metadata, titles, headings, internal linking)
- Support marketing and digital teams with campaign page setup and asset uploads
- Help generate basic website performance and traffic reports (GA4, Search Console, etc.)
- Work collaboratively with marketing and development teams to ensure brand consistency and functionality
- Experience Required
- Previous experience working in a website executive, website assistant, digital content, or eCommerce operations role
- Strong working knowledge of CMS platforms (Sitecore, WordPress, or Umbraco)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to QA and proof website content
- Organised and efficient, with strong multitasking and prioritisation skills
- Understanding of basic SEO and Google Analytics (GA4)
- Comfortable working with imagery, links, and layouts to enhance user experience
- A genuine interest in travel, websites, and how great digital presentation drives customer engagement
Benefits and Perks
- Competitive salary and hybrid working
- Travel opportunities and exclusive staff discounts
- Collaborative, supportive, and friendly team culture
- Genuine opportunities for growth and development
- A company that values innovation, sustainability, and people
