This is a stand-alone, IT Manager job in London within the luxury travel industry, offering up to £60,000 plus bonus and hyrbid working. They are now seeking an IT Manager / IT Lead who will play a key role in shaping and delivering the organisation's technology strategy — identifying opportunities to strengthen infrastructure, improve operational efficiency, and ensure systems effectively support wider business objectives.
▌ The Role
In this role, you will work independently and take ownership of IT across three offices, ensuring a reliable, secure and efficient technology environment while enhancing systems, support and ways of working.
– Provide first-line support for all technical queries
– Oversee devices and systems from setup through to lifecycle management
– Manage onboarding and offboarding IT processes
– Improve helpdesk processes and response times
– Work with suppliers to manage systems and connectivity
– Identify and implement system and infrastructure improvements
– Strengthen cybersecurity and data protection
– Maintain asset, licence and system records
▌ Experience Required
– Proven experience in a broad, hands-on, standalone IT role supporting multiple sites
– Strong background in technical support, systems management and infrastructure
– Experience with Windows and/or macOS environments
– Good understanding of IT security, data protection and backup processes
– Experience managing networks, hardware, cloud platforms and suppliers
– Strong communication skills with a user-focused approach
– Able to work independently in a standalone environment
