System Analyst Support

We are looking for a detail-driven and proactive Systems Analyst & Support to join our IT Development team. In this role, you will support and enhance our core business systems, helping to ensure they remain reliable, efficient, and fit for the future. You will play a key part in both day-to-day application support and longer-term system development and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide robust support for core business systems, focusing on root-cause analysis and long-term issue resolution.
- Analyse business requirements and contribute to the development, testing, and implementation of system enhancements.
- Carry out system, functional, and regression testing to ensure stability and reliability of solutions.
- Support software upgrades and pilot releases, identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
- Produce clear, user-friendly documentation to support system adoption and effective use.
- Recommend improvements to processes and systems to enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Work closely with the Development Team Manager to prioritise workload and support future development plans.
- Provide third-line support and liaise with third-party suppliers where required.
- Support wider IT team activities as needed to ensure business continuity.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting and analysing business-critical systems in an IT environment.
- Strong understanding of system and regression testing methodologies.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical and application issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to document processes clearly for non-technical users.
- A structured, analytical approach to problem-solving and change.
- Ability to understand end-to-end business processes and how systems integrate.
- Flexible, collaborative, and willing to support wider team objectives.
