To help us deliver a true omni-channel shopping experience, we’re looking for a talented and forward-thinking eCommerce Tech Lead to join our team at our Retail Support Centre in Warrington.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Define and own the ecommerce technical roadmap, ensuring platforms are scalable, secure, and built to support a true omni-channel customer experience.
- Lead the end-to-end technical delivery of new features, integrations, and enhancements across web and mobile.
- Partner with Product, Digital Trading, UX, and Marketing teams to align technical solutions with commercial goals.
- Oversee key integrations, including payment gateways, CRM, ERP, and fulfilment platforms.
- Champion best practices in coding, testing, and deployment processes.
- Monitor and optimise site performance, driving improvements in speed, accessibility, and reliability.
- Manage relationships with external developers and technology partners, ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Mentor and develop a team of developers and QA engineers, fostering innovation and collaboration.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in eCommerce development and technical leadership.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, Shopify Plus, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, REST/GraphQL APIs, and cloud environments.
- Experience with integrations across payment systems, CRM, ERP, OMS, and third-party platforms.
- Strong architectural design and problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering scalable, high-performing solutions.
- Experience working in agile environments and managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- A passion for innovation and improving the digital customer journey through a true omni-channel approach.
