The Opportunity
We are seeking a dual-hatted Data & Solutions Architect to serve as the bridge between high-level business strategy and technical execution. You will be the custodian of our enterprise data blueprint, ensuring that every priority initiative is built on a foundation of scalable, high-quality, and future-proof architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Blueprinting: Define and evolve the enterprise data architecture, creating reference architectures and strategic roadmaps that span across all business domains.
- End-to-End Delivery: Take full ownership of solution architectures for high-priority data projects, from initial concept to deployment.
- Design & Modeling: Translate complex business and product requirements into robust logical and physical data designs .
- Integration Excellence: Design modern integration patterns that ensure seamless data flow, consistency, and accessibility across the ecosystem.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a technical advisor to product and business leads, ensuring technical debt is managed while delivering value at pace.
Candidate Profile
Core Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Data or Solutions Architect within a complex, large-scale environment.
- Deep expertise in designing Modern Data Platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or AWS/Azure equivalents).
- Strong mastery of Integration Patterns (APIs, Event-driven architecture, ETL/ELT).
- Experience with Data Governance and Security frameworks within a regulated or enterprise-grade context.
Soft Skills:
- Ability to communicate "architecture to outcomes"—explaining technical decisions in terms of business value.
- A "builder" mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Local to London with the ability to work in a Hybrid capacity.
