Job Description:

Specialization: ECC (MM/SD) integrated with S/4HANA EWM in a bespoke GSK/HBSM setup

We are seeking a senior SAP Logistics Consultant with deep expertise in SAP EWM and ECC MM/SD to support and enhance a bespoke Trading Partner/HBSM-style solution. The role spans solution design, complex integrations, regression‐safe enhancements, and steady-state support in a regulated environment. You will partner with BAU and specialized (Fusion/Platform) teams for new requirements, audit & compliance, cutovers, and rollouts.

Key Responsibilities

1. EWM (S/4HANA) – Warehouse Operations

• Configure and support Inbound/Outbound, Putaway/Picking, Replenishment, Wave/Warehouse Order creation, HU management, Physical Inventory.
• Set up and optimize warehouse structure (Storage Types/Sec., Bins, WOCR, Activity Areas) and RF processes.
• Integrate EWM with ECC MM/SD for deliveries, WM/IM, batch/serial management, and QM (if in scope).
• Support performance tuning, queue/error handling (SMQ2/SMQ1), and exception codes.

1. ECC Logistics – MM & SD

• MM (P2P/IM): Procurement, STOs, GR/GI, movement types, valuation, account determination, batch/serials, special stocks.
• SD (O2C): Sales orders, ATP, deliveries, PGI, billing/invoice output, pricing procedures/condition techniques.
• Master data stewardship: Material/Customer/Vendor, Info Records, Source Lists, Output/Partner profiles.

1. Bespoke Solution (HBSM / GSK-Specific)

• Understand and steward non‐standard, custom Trading Partner/HBSM flows, complex routing rules, and custom orchestration.
• Analyze change requests tied to audit/compliance, design guardrail‐friendly solutions, and coordinate with Fusion/Platform teams for complex builds.
• Own KT to BAU, regression planning, documentation, and handover.

1. Integration & Technical Coordination

• Work across IDocs, qRFC, APIs (REST/SOAP), CPI/PO, and 3PL/carrier/TM interfaces.
• Draft high-quality FSDs / mapping specs, collaborate with ABAP for RICEFW, and lead SIT/UAT, cutover rehearsal, and hypercare.
• Drive defect triage, root-cause analysis, and permanent fixes with measurable SLAs.

1. Governance, Compliance & Quality

• Ensure GxP/SOX-aligned change control, traceability, and evidence for audits.
• Maintain configuration workbooks, process maps, test scripts, SOPs, and support packs.
• Proactively adapt to legal/fiscal or policy changes impacting logistics and invoicing flows.

Required Skills

• 7–12 years in SAP Logistics with hands-on SAP EWM (S/4HANA) and ECC MM & SD.
• Demonstrated experience in bespoke/custom (non-standard) solutions and multi-system landscapes.
• Strong MM–SD–EWM integration knowledge (deliveries, HU, batch/serial, QM touchpoints).
• Proficiency in IDocs/qRFC, error handling, and functional debugging; familiarity with CPI/PO.
• Solid experience in testing (SIT/UAT/regression), cutover, hypercare, and BAU support.
• Excellent stakeholder/vendor management, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in highly regulated industries and global rollouts.
• Knowledge of SAP TM, 3PL integrations, carrier label/ASN flows, GS1, and SSCC.
• Exposure to advanced ATP, S/4 conversion projects, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Agile (Scrum/SAFe) delivery, DevOps tooling, and service management (ITIL).
