Salary: Up to £50,000 + 15% bonus

We’re working with a well-established organisation looking to add an HRIS Specialist to its HR technology function.

This is a hands-on role focused on the day-to-day ownership, support and continuous improvement of the organisation’s HR systems. You’ll work across HR, Payroll and L&D, helping ensure systems are reliable, data is accurate, and processes are as efficient as possible.

It would suit someone who already has good experience working with HRIS platforms and wants a role where they can take greater ownership of systems, enhancements and HR technology projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting and maintaining core HR systems across the organisation, ensuring system reliability, security and data integrity.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for HRIS queries, troubleshooting system issues and supporting users across HR, Payroll and L&D.
  • Configuring and implementing system changes, enhancements, new modules and upgrades.
  • Supporting integrations between HR platforms and wider business systems.
  • Working with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate these into practical system solutions.
  • Supporting HR technology projects through requirements gathering, testing, UAT, implementation and rollout.
  • Producing and maintaining HR reports and dashboards to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve HR processes, workflows and system functionality.
  • Maintaining high standards of HR data quality, governance and GDPR compliance.
  • Providing guidance and training to users to improve adoption and effective use of HR systems.
  • Exploring opportunities to introduce further automation and emerging technology across HR processes.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll have previous experience working in an HRIS / HR Systems focused role.

  • HRIS administration, configuration and ongoing system support
  • System upgrades, enhancements and implementations
  • HR system integrations
  • Troubleshooting system and data issues
  • Reporting and HR data analysis
  • Requirements gathering, testing and UAT
  • Process improvement and workflow optimisation
  • HR data governance, security and GDPR
  • Working closely with HR, Payroll, L&D and IT stakeholders
  • Exposure to HR automation, AI tools or emerging HR technologies would be beneficial, but isn’t essential.
