About the Role
As the EUC Device Team Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of end-user devices including laptops, desktops, mobiles, tablets, and peripherals, ensuring they are secure, compliant, and optimised for performance.
You’ll lead a skilled team consisting of a Team Leader and four technical specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, service excellence, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Device Lifecycle Management
- Oversee procurement, configuration, deployment, support, upgrades, and secure disposal of all end-user devices.
- Ensure compliance with corporate security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and optimise MDM platforms including Microsoft Intune, Apple Business Manager, Samsung Knox, and SOTI MobiControl.
- Coordinate with vendors on hardware/software procurement and SLAs.
- Ensure timely deployment of OS and application patches.
Team Leadership
- Line-manage and develop a team of device specialists.
- Drive knowledge sharing, coaching, and continuous improvement.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure efficient resolution of device-related incidents and service requests.
- Monitor device performance, usage, and support metrics.
- Standardise device configurations and support processes.
- Maintain high-quality documentation for end-user support and builds.
Strategic Planning & Innovation
- Develop and maintain a forward-thinking device strategy aligned with digital workplace goals.
- Enhance end-user experience through performance, accessibility, and usability improvements.
- Collaborate with service desk, infrastructure, and procurement teams to align technology roadmaps.
Asset Management
- Maintain accurate records of device ownership, location, and lifecycle status.
Project Delivery
- Lead or support device rollouts, upgrades, migrations, and other IT transformation initiatives.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience managing end-user devices in a large enterprise environment.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Deep knowledge of Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.
- Hands-on experience with MDM solutions such as Intune, SOTI MobiControl, Apple Business Manager, Samsung Knox.
- Strong understanding of endpoint security and device imaging.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
Desirable
- ITIL certification or equivalent service management experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Autopilot, and Zero Trust principles.
- Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive technology practices.
