Mandatory Requirements

Candidates must currently hold active UK Security Check (SC) Clearance.

Strong, hands-on Boomi experience is mandatory. Candidates without proven experience deploying and administering Boomi Atom, Molecule, Runtime or Runtime Cluster environments cannot be considered.

This is a hybrid role requiring attendance at the client s London or Birmingham office two days per week. Candidates must be able and willing to meet this requirement.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Boomi Platform Engineer / Boomi Runtime Enablement Engineer to deploy, configure and manage Boomi Runtime environments across private cloud infrastructure.

The successful candidate will have substantial hands-on experience with Boomi Atom and Molecule environments, now referred to as Runtime and Runtime Cluster, together with strong expertise in AWS or Azure, Kubernetes, containerisation and platform automation.

You will be responsible for delivering secure, highly available, scalable and resilient Boomi runtime platforms while supporting monitoring, performance optimisation, disaster recovery and ongoing operational stability.

Working Arrangement

• Hybrid working model.

• Attendance at the client s London or Birmingham office two days per week is mandatory.

• The remaining working days may be performed remotely, subject to client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and administer Boomi Runtime and Runtime Cluster environments within AWS or Azure private cloud infrastructure.

• Build and manage Boomi runtime platforms on Kubernetes environments such as AKS, EKS, OpenShift or self-managed clusters.

• Design and implement highly available, scalable and resilient Boomi runtime architectures.

• Manage containerised deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, backup and disaster recovery capabilities.

• Configure and support networking, DNS, SSL/TLS certificates, firewalls, ingress controllers and load balancers.

• Troubleshoot Boomi runtime performance, connectivity, availability and infrastructure-related issues.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Boomi platform deployment and configuration.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code tools.

• Work with security, cloud, networking and application teams to ensure the platform meets operational and compliance requirements.

• Produce and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures and operational support guides.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Active UK SC Clearance is mandatory.

• Hands-on Boomi platform and runtime administration experience is mandatory.

• Ability to attend the client s London or Birmingham office two days per week is mandatory.

• Proven experience deploying, configuring and managing Boomi Atom, Molecule, Runtime or Runtime Cluster environments.

• Strong understanding of Boomi runtime architecture, clustering, execution modes, shared storage, security and platform operations.

• Experience running Boomi runtime platforms within AWS or Azure private cloud environments.

• Strong Kubernetes experience, including AKS, EKS, OpenShift or self-managed Kubernetes clusters.

• Practical experience with Docker and containerised platform deployments.

• Strong Linux administration skills.

• Good knowledge of cloud networking, DNS, SSL/TLS certificates, firewalls, ingress, proxies and load balancers.

• Experience implementing high availability, horizontal scaling, monitoring and disaster recovery solutions.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar platforms.

• Knowledge of AWS or Azure services, including IAM, secrets management, storage, compute and networking.

• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve Boomi runtime, infrastructure and platform performance issues.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Five or more years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering or DevOps.

• Two or more years of experience administering Boomi Runtime, Atom or Molecule environments.

• Experience using Terraform, Ansible or similar Infrastructure as Code and configuration-management tools.

• Boomi Runtime Architecture, Platform Architecture or related Boomi certifications.

• Experience working within secure, regulated or government environments.

• Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK or Azure Monitor.

Candidate Profile

You will be a hands-on Boomi Platform Engineer with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work across Boomi, cloud, Kubernetes, networking, security and middleware technologies.

You must be comfortable taking ownership of Boomi runtime infrastructure from initial deployment through to production support, optimisation and continuous improvement.
