The Role
We are seeking an experienced Service Support Engineer to join a busy and high-profile environment supporting security systems across a major airport site.
This is a hands-on role involving the installation, maintenance, and support of CCTV, ANPR, and associated security technologies, both on-site and remotely. You will play a key role in ensuring critical systems remain fully operational and compliant with service level agreements.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day support for CCTV, ANPR, and security systems
Carry out fault finding, maintenance, and repairs on hardware and software
Install and configure CCTV cameras, ANPR systems, and related equipment
Support system applications such as Genetec and similar platforms
Perform preventative and reactive maintenance across site
Produce clear service reports and maintain documentation
Work collaboratively with internal teams and site stakeholders
Participate in an on-call rota (24/7 shared)
Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety procedures
Requirements
Essential:
Proven experience working with CCTV and ANPR systems
Strong background in installation and service support
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults
Experience working in a field service or support engineering role
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
Experience with Genetec or similar CCTV VMS systems
Knowledge of networking, LAN, or IT systems
Experience with structured cabling or fibre
Background in airports or high-security environments
