SC Clearance (active or eligible) - Need to have been in the UK for last 5 years.

We've partnered with a leading consultancy on a portfolio of high-profile programmes, and are looking for Senior Data Architects.

These roles are centred on large-scale migrations from legacy on-premises environments to modern cloud data platforms, with real technical ownership and visible impact from day one.

The Role

You'll be leading technical strategy in migration from legacy on-prem architecture to cloud-native stacks, including:

• Communicator at all levels, including C-suite to Technology teams.
• Experience of lakehouse architecture - AWS, Azure.
• Working with Data Engineering teams to build the new platforms.
• Deliver the new modern cloud-based Data Architecture, in highly governed & complex environments.

What we're looking for

• Proven track record as a Senior Data Architect, working on migration projects from legacy to modern cloud-based architecture.
• Experience working on long-term projects focused on the delivery of new architecture.
• Skilled at translating real business problems into concrete, deliverable architecture.
• Deep understanding of Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Data Lakes, and modern warehousing.
• Able to communicate and influence C-suite and Engineering teams.
• Strong enough technically to work alongside Data Engineers and Developers.
• Experience working in highly governed environments.
