We’re partnering with a technology-led organisation to hire a Head of Platforms to own the strategy and evolution of a suite of business-critical platforms.

This role leads the design, development and long-term direction of core financial systems, ensuring they are secure, scalable and built to support growth in a regulated environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Own the end-to-end strategy for core financial platforms
• Lead platform architecture and technical direction
• Partner with product, engineering and governance teams to deliver robust solutions
• Ensure platforms meet security, reliability and regulatory expectations
• Drive platform improvement, modernisation and operational excellence

What we’re looking for

• Senior experience owning or leading financial or transaction-heavy platforms
• Strong understanding of core fintech-style capabilities (e.g. ledgers, accounts, onboarding, payments or event-driven systems)
• Background in platform architecture and scalable system design
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure and modern delivery practices
• Comfortable operating in regulated or high-assurance environments
