Solution Architect
As a Solution Architect, you’ll play a vital role in designing robust, scalable, and secure systems that address complex business challenges. Working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, you’ll help shape innovative technical solutions that align with strategic goals and deliver tangible value.
Key Responsibilities
• Create high-level and detailed system architectures that meet business and technical requirements across complex platforms.
• Partner with business leaders, internal teams, and external vendors to translate business objectives into actionable technical designs.
• Define and maintain a technology roadmap aligned to client strategy, identifying opportunities for innovation and enhancement.
• Design integration strategies for disparate systems, ensuring seamless data flow, reliability, and scalability.
• Provide architectural guidance to development teams to ensure fidelity to design principles and technical best practices.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and internal security standards, covering areas like data protection and disaster recovery.
• Maintain comprehensive architectural and design documentation for current and future projects.
• Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring architectural robustness and long-term maintainability.
• We operate a flexible hybrid working model, encouraging in-office collaboration at least two days a week while allowing for remote flexibility.
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Solution Architect, Software Architect, or equivalent technical role.
• Proven track record designing enterprise-level solutions across various platforms and technologies.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and modern architectural approaches.
• Hands-on experience with APIs, microservices, containerisation (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data management best practices.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (ISO, NIST).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps environments.
