Junior IT Support Technician - Temporary - £13.00
 
Are you a tech savvy IT Support Technician ready to get involved in a large-scale Windows upgrade?
 
This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation on a temporary basis for 3 months.
 
You’ll be joining a collaborative and fast-paced environment where your input will be key to ensuring seamless service delivery during a critical business transformation.
 
As a Junior IT Support Technician, you’ll play a hands-on role supporting users across the UK, both in person and remotely.
 
As a Junior IT Support Technician, you will be:

• Rebuilding laptops, successfully upgrading hardware and software ensuring all desktops/laptops are at optimum working levels'
• Supporting the Windows 11 rollout project by building, configuring, and installing new desktop and laptop devices
• Providing first and second-line technical support to users across various UK sites – via phone, MS Teams, email, and face-to-face
• Troubleshooting software and hardware issues, particularly within Windows environments
• Managing IT hardware procurement, provisioning, and set-up
• Collaborating with internal teams, shared services, and third-party vendors to resolve project tickets and queries

As a successful Junior IT Support Technician, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

• A genuine interest  in IT with technical knowledge and experience
• Experience in an IT support or desktop support role within a Windows-based environment
• Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11, with confidence in installation and issue resolution
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proactive and professional approach to service delivery
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional project team
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is desirable, due to occasional travel to regional sites
