Data Scientist

We are supporting a leading private markets investment group in expanding its new AI & Data function — focused on delivering smarter, faster and more predictive decision-making across the business and its global portfolio companies.

As a Data Scientist, you will help design the next generation of insight and forecasting tools used by investment, commercial and operational teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of statistical rigour, experimentation and real-world business impact.

What you'll work on

• Predictive and forecasting models for market, risk, and performance analytics
• Statistical research, experimentation frameworks and sensitivity modelling
• Insight engines that transform raw data into actionable recommendations
• Feature engineering and model optimisation across diverse data sources

You'll bring experience in

• Python, SQL, statistical modelling, feature engineering
• Familiarity with Cloud environments - especially MS Azure

Experience in private capital, asset management or portfolio strategy is welcome but not required.
