Graduate Applications Engineer- Electronics/Software

Graduate Electronic Engineers or Graduate Software Engineers will have strong academics and be hobbyist developers in their spare time. Electronic/Software Engineers will have excellent knowledge of circuit design and programming experience with languages such as C, C++, Python and Java. DSP/RF/Embedded Software/Firmware experience will be advantageous. You will join a customer facing team responsible for developing programming projects to demonstrate capabilities to potential customers, and on a consultancy basis for existing customers. Developing projects involves reviewing schematics and configuring software products. Graduate Applications Engineer will work on many different projects, so this role is ideal for an engineer who likes a lot of variety. You will understand customer requirements and develop solutions using products, culminating in a successful sale. Any of the following experience will be advantageous:

A sound understanding of core digital electronics, preferably with a foundational understanding of FPGAs, embedded microprocessors and device drivers Familiarity with one or more high level programming language

An interest in engaging with customers to understand their requirements and developing solutions to meet those needs

Excellent written and verbal communication

Some experience of problem-solving and an ability to apply that to customer problems

Awareness of electronics technologies and trends Ability to manage your own time and priorities whilst meeting customer expectations

Basic experience of electronics development projects and use of design tools
