Lead Technical Architect
£600-£660 per day | Inside IR35 | Remote-first | Occasional travel to London | Active SC required
We're looking for an experienced Lead Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex technical solutions across multiple projects.
The role will suit someone with a strong network architecture background who can operate at both strategic and technical levels, working across stakeholders, suppliers and technical teams.
The Role
- Lead the architecture and delivery of complex technical solutions
- Shape technical roadmaps and ensure solutions are secure, scalable and maintainable
- Strong focus on network engineering, SD-WAN, BGP, switching, routing, Firewalls and load balancing
- Lead design reviews and contribute to technical governance and assurance
- Work closely with senior stakeholders, third parties and wider technical teams
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to other architects
Experience Required
- Strong experience as a Technical/Solution Architect working on complex environments
- Deep knowledge of network architecture and Cisco SD-WAN
- Strong understanding of BGP, switching, routing, Firewalls and load balancing
- Experience leading complex technical architecture across multiple projects
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Active SC clearance is essential
