Content Designer (Government Digital Services)

£40,000 – £55,000 + package

Our client, a digital consulting team are currently in search of Content Designers to join their team to work on exciting client projects across the public sector.

Content designers ensure that people get the information they need, when and where they need it, in a format that’s right for them. If that is you and you have extensive experience with Government Digital Services, this could be the role for you!

Key skills required for the Senior Content Designer:

• You will have exemplary content design skills and experience of establishing content strategy and content design patterns.
• Experience working to GDS standards is a must
• Expertise in creating content based on evidenced user needs.
• Experienced in championing user centred design principles
• Mentor or lead design teams

As a specialist in Content Design you will:

• Support the design and implementation of content strategy to ensure clients’ business requirements are met
• Drive Government Digital Service and WCAG Accessibility standards
• Create and iterate content for end-to-end services
• Advise and support content design colleagues and other members of Agile teams
• Use insights from user research and metrics to shape content strategy
• Be an expert in Agile delivery
• Run workshops with your team and stakeholders
• Advocate user-centred design

The Content Designer package:

• £40,000 – 55,000
