GCP Cloud Engineer / Architect

Location: London or Manchester

Salary: £55,000 - £90,000 per annum (experience dependent) + benefits

Security Clearance: Must be eligible for SC Clearance (5 years continuous UK residency required)

Certifications: Ideally certified in Cloud Development or Engineering (certification support provided)

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading technology consultancy that partners closely with Google to deliver innovative cloud solutions across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Cloud Solution Engineer or Junior Cloud Architect to work on high-impact projects using the latest in GenAI and cloud-native technologies.

The Role

• Architect and implement secure cloud solutions using Google Cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Google experts on GenAI and cloud-native initiatives.
• Contribute to infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security frameworks.
• Support junior engineers and grow into a technical leadership role.

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling.
• Strong grasp of cloud networking, IAM, and security best practices.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• A growth mindset and ambition to evolve into a Cloud Architect or Engineering Lead.
