Salary: £60,000 - £84,000
Are you an Information Assurance or Cyber Security professional looking to lead security governance, risk, and compliance initiatives? This is an opportunity to join a leading cyber team, supporting clients with complex security challenges and helping shape effective assurance strategies.
You’ll act as a subject matter expert, delivering assurance projects, advising stakeholders on cyber risk, and helping organisations improve their security posture across governance, compliance, and operational security.
What you'll have the opportunity to work across:
- Identify, assess, and manage cyber security risks using recognised methodologies.
- Conduct assurance reviews against industry standards, regulations, and frameworks.
- Produce security reports, policies, and assurance evidence for stakeholders.
- Support security control assessments, vulnerability management, and incident analysis.
- Provide guidance on security requirements and best practices.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and security stakeholders.
What we need from you:
- Experience aligned to the CIISec Skills Framework, particularly across Information Assurance, Governance, Risk Management, Security Assurance, and Security Management.
- Experience in Information Assurance, Cyber Risk, GRC, or Security Consulting.
- Knowledge of security standards and frameworks, including ISO 27001 and industry best practices.
- Experience conducting security assessments, reviewing controls, and supporting compliance activities.
- Understanding of cloud security across platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Experience developing security policies, processes, and assurance documentation.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to advise both technical and non-technical audiences.
