About the Role
As a Consultant in IT Sourcing / Procurement, you’ll support CIOs and senior business leaders to design, procure, and transition modern IT and digital services. You’ll contribute across sourcing strategy, business cases, commercial models, and transition programmes, helping clients build efficient, sustainable, and fit-for-future IT operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the design of IT sourcing strategies balancing internal capability with external suppliers
- Assisting in shaping sourcing solutions, business cases, and commercial models
- Contributing to major procurements, including supplier engagement and contract development
- Helping design and implement operating and delivery models that enable modern, digital ways of working
- Supporting transition programmes and workstreams to move services into new delivery models
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders across technology, procurement, and business teams
Ideal Background
- Experience in IT sourcing, procurement, or transformation in digital/technology environments
- Understanding of technology services market: applications, infrastructure, workplace, cloud, SaaS, AI
- Familiarity with outsourcing lifecycle: strategy, delivery, transition, and optimisation
- Ability to understand IT services, requirements, SLAs, and commercial constructs
- Exposure to procurement strategies and commercial solutions
- Comfortable engaging with stakeholders and working within consulting teams
