Integration Architect

Job Title: Integration Solution Architect (Contract)

Location: Remote (United Kingdom)

Duration: 6 months (extendable)

Day Rate: £550 - £600 a day (Outside IR35)

Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Integration Solution Architect to lead integration design across a global supply chain landscape. The immediate focus is a Transport Management System (Shipsy) implementation, integrating with Oracle Cloud ERP, carriers, and IoT/temperature monitoring solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design integrations between Oracle Cloud ERP and Shipsy TMS (orders, shipment events, delivery confirmation)
• Define API contracts, data mapping, and error handling/retry strategies
• Architect integrations with carriers and freight forwarders (API, EDI, portal)
• Design notification/communication integrations (e.g. Power Automate, messaging platforms)
• Define approach for IoT and temperature monitoring data integration
• Establish integration standards, patterns, and documentation
• Act as technical lead with vendors and internal teams

Required Experience

• Proven Integration/Solution Architect experience
• Strong API design (REST, webhooks, event-driven)
• ERP to SaaS integration experience (Oracle preferred)
• Middleware platforms (e.g. MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure Integration Services)
• Logistics/carrier integration experience (EDI, tracking events)
• Strong data flow, transformation, and error handling knowledge

Desirable

• TMS implementation experience
• Life sciences / pharma supply chain
• IoT or real-time data integration
• Power Automate / transactional messaging tools
• Identity integration (e.g. Okta)

First 30 Days

• Review TMS and Oracle integration design
• Assess carrier integration approach and API gaps
• Support IoT/temperature integration strategy
