Role: Java Developer

Location: Bristol (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

** Due to the nature of the projects, candidates must be actively SC Cleared and willing to go through DV clearance! **

Are you a Java Developer looking to work on impactful, large-scale projects rather than another routine development role?

You’ll work alongside highly skilled engineers building scalable microservices and cloud-based applications that solve real-world business challenges.

Essential Skills

• Strong commercial experience with Java (JDK 11+)
• Spring Boot for building microservices
• Experience with enterprise middleware (e.g. WebLogic Server)
• Experience working with secure integrations (CAS SDK or similar)
• Deploying applications into cloud environments (preferably AWS) using containers
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Knowledge of CI, testing practices and modern development standards

Desirable Skills

• Experience with GitLab, Jenkins or SonarQube
• Experience building secure, scalable cloud services
• Exposure to TDD/BDD practices
• Comfortable contributing to technical discussions and estimations
