Junior Data Scientist

Data/AI Analyst/Scientist

London (3 days on-site)

£40,000–£60,000 + 10% bonus

We’re looking for a Junior Data/AI Analyst to join a global leader in life saving technology and digital innovation. This is a hands on role focused on building and developing early stage AI/ML models, experimentation, and data exploration, not data pipeline engineering.

What you’ll do

• Support the development, testing, and comparison of machine learning models.

• Prepare features and run experiments across time series, tabular, or image data.

• Conduct exploratory data analysis and produce clear, actionable insights.

• Validate model outputs and identify data or modelling issues.

• Create visualisations and support internal reporting.

• Work closely with AI specialists in a collaborative, learning driven environment.

What we’re looking for

• Degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Maths, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.

• Experience with Python for analysis (pandas, NumPy).

• Understanding of core ML concepts.

• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate insights simply and clearly.

• Curious, proactive, and comfortable working hands on with data.

• Desirable: exposure to ML workflows, visualisation tools, Git, or responsible AI concepts.

The Package

• £40,000–£60,000 base

• 10% bonus

• Pension + wider benefits

• Hybrid working (3 days in the London office)
