Salary: £120k–£140k (London, up to £150k exceptional) | £110k–£120k (Regional, flexibility for top candidates) + £6,500 car allowance

About the Role

Our client is a Microsoft-focused consultancy operating at enterprise scale, formed through a strategic partnership between one of the world’s leading technology providers and a global consulting firm. They specialise in delivering complex, high-impact transformation programmes across the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly within security, cloud, and data.

They’re hiring a Lead Security Architect to take ownership of Microsoft Security across a major go-to-market channel. This is a senior, high-visibility role sitting across sales, solutioning, and delivery, working on some of the largest enterprise security programmes in the UK and globally.

You will define the direction of Microsoft Security offerings, lead large-scale transformations, and act as the senior authority across both clients and internal teams. This is not just architecture. It is market leadership, revenue influence, and capability building at scale.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading end-to-end solutioning and delivery for Microsoft Security across enterprise clients
  • Owning and evolving security offerings, go-to-market assets, and capabilities
  • Driving pre-sales and deal conversion on large, complex engagements (multi-million programmes)
  • Acting as the senior technical authority across Microsoft Security technologies
  • Building and maintaining C-level client relationships and stakeholder trust
  • Supporting and guiding architects and delivery teams through complex challenges
  • Defining and scaling capability, skills, and certification strategy across the business
  • Leading large-scale Microsoft security transformation and managed service opportunities
  • Acting as a market-facing leader and brand ambassador

Ideal Background

  • Extensive experience in Microsoft Security architecture, consulting, and delivery
  • Strong track record in enterprise pre-sales, including large deal shaping (£3m–£6m+)
  • Deep expertise across Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Entra, Purview, and Cloud Security
  • Ability to articulate end-to-end security value propositions to senior stakeholders
  • Experience building and scaling security offerings and capabilities
  • Strong leadership background with experience mentoring and developing teams
  • Advanced Microsoft certifications (SC-100, SC-200, SC-401 etc.)
  • Desirable: CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or similar
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST, GDPR, SOC2
