I’m currently supporting a major global Microsoft consultancy on a strategic hire within their Microsoft Security practice.

They are looking for a Lead Security Architect to help shape and lead some of the largest Microsoft Security engagements in the UK and globally.

📍 Locations: London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh

💰 Up to £150k in London + package (slightly lower regionally)

This is a genuinely high-impact role, sitting at the intersection of:

✔️ Enterprise advisory

✔️ Solution architecture

✔️ Microsoft Security transformation

✔️ GTM & capability leadership

✔️ Executive stakeholder engagement

You’ll be working across the full Microsoft Security stack, including:

• Defender

• Sentinel

• Entra

• Purview

• Cloud Security / M365 Security

They are particularly interested in:

🔹 Senior/Lead Security Architects from major consultancies

🔹 Microsoft Security leaders within advisory environments

🔹 Individuals who have helped shape offerings, win large programmes, and lead enterprise-scale security transformations

🔹 Strong client-facing consultants with a commercial mindset

Ideal backgrounds could include:

• Large consultancy / advisory firms

• Microsoft specialist consultancies

• Security practices within global SIs

Key experience:

✅ Microsoft Security architecture & transformation

✅ Enterprise client advisory

✅ Managed Security Services / SOC transformation

✅ Presales & solutioning

✅ Building and scaling security capabilities

✅ Executive stakeholder management

Certifications such as SC-100, SC-200, CISSP, CCSP, or CISM are highly desirable.
