About the Role
Our client is a global technology consultancy delivering large-scale transformation programmes across both public and private sectors. They operate at enterprise scale, working on complex cloud, platform, and digital engineering initiatives.
This role sits at Senior Manager level, combining technical leadership, delivery ownership, and client engagement. You will not just be hands-on. You will set direction, lead teams, and take accountability for delivering cloud solutions that are scalable, secure, and commercially viable.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the design and delivery of cloud-native solutions across AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Owning end-to-end delivery across multiple workstreams or programmes
- Setting engineering standards, DevOps practices, and architectural direction
- Managing and mentoring engineering teams, often across multiple locations
- Acting as a senior client-facing lead, building relationships and influencing stakeholders
- Driving cloud transformation programmes, including migrations and platform modernisation
- Supporting business development through solution shaping, proposals, and pre-sales
Ideal Background
- Deep experience across at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong background in DevOps, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automation
- Proven experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex programmes
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, and distributed systems
- Experience in consulting or client-facing environments
- Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
- Strong commercial awareness and experience contributing to bids or proposals
