Role: PAM Consultant / Specialist

Role Overview
As a Privileged Access Management (PAM) Consultant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of privileged access security. This includes architecting robust solutions, leading technical deployments, and ensuring that high-level access is governed by strict security standards and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and Design PAM Solutions: Develop and implement tailored PAM architectures, including the creation of policies, processes, and tool selection for managing privileged accounts.
- Implementation: Lead the deployment and configuration of PAM technologies (e.g., CyberArk, BeyondTrust), ensuring seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure.
- Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct regular assessments to identify security risks and vulnerabilities related to privileged access, developing proactive mitigation strategies.
- Governance and Compliance: Ensure all PAM solutions align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements such as SOX, GDPR, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA.
- Policy Development: Establish and enforce organizational PAM standards to minimize the attack surface of critical infrastructure.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Security Expertise: Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in IT security, with at least 3 years dedicated to Privileged Access Management.
- Technical Proficiency: Proven hands-on experience with PAM enterprise solutions (e.g., CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Thycotic).
- Cloud Infrastructure: Experience managing PAM requirements within cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Vetting Requirement: Candidates must be willing to undergo a Security Clearance (SC) process, which requires 5+ years of continuous UK address history.
