About the Role

Our client is a global professional services organisation operating at significant scale across strategy, consulting, technology, and operations. They partner with leading public and private sector organisations to solve complex digital challenges, modernise critical systems, and improve resilience across large-scale environments. Their Cyber Security practice is a key growth area, bringing together deep technical expertise with large-scale delivery capability across offensive security, assurance, and security operations.

They are now hiring a Penetration Tester into their Offensive Security team. This is a hands-on role focused on delivering penetration testing across enterprise IT, applications, cloud platforms, and operational technology environments.

You will work directly with clients to identify vulnerabilities, test defences, and provide clear, actionable recommendations. The work is varied and often complex, requiring both strong technical capability and the ability to operate effectively in client-facing environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver penetration testing across infrastructure, web applications, APIs, and cloud environments
  • Work across multiple testing specialisms depending on client requirements
  • Identify vulnerabilities and assess risk across complex systems
  • Produce clear, structured reports with practical remediation guidance
  • Present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to shape testing approaches and outcomes

Ideal Background

  • CHECK Team Member (CTM) certification is required
  • Broad penetration testing experience across infrastructure, applications, and cloud
  • Strong understanding of modern attack vectors and common vulnerabilities
  • Ability to define testing approaches with limited initial information
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience presenting findings to stakeholders

Clearance Requirement

This role requires eligibility for BPSS and SC clearance. You must have 5 years continuous UK address history at the point of application, typically with no extended periods spent outside the UK.
