Senior Python Developer

Salary - £55,000 - £70,000

Location – Leeds (once a week)

The Role:

Are you an experienced Python developer seeking a meaningful role where your technical expertise can make a genuine difference? As a Senior Python Developer, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering high-quality digital solutions. You’ll work closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders to craft scalable, efficient systems that are accessible, user-friendly, and built to last.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the technical delivery of projects, offering hands-on coding expertise and architectural insight

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design solutions that meet user needs and business goals

• Building, testing, and deploying cloud-native applications using modern frameworks and serverless infrastructure

• Supporting and mentoring team members, fostering a positive and growth-oriented engineering culture

• Representing the organisation in technical discussions, stakeholder meetings, and community engagement

Candidate Requirements:

• Advanced skills in Python

• Strong experience with AWS services, particularly in serverless environments

• Solid understanding of web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and libraries like React or Node.js

• Knowledge of API design, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), and microservices architecture

• Practical experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD processes

• A user-focused mindset and familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or TDD
