Sales Capture Lead
Sales Capture Lead
Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 + £5,700 car allowance + bonus
About the Role
Our client is one of the world’s leading global consulting and technology services firms, supporting major organisations through large-scale transformation programmes across strategy, technology, operations, and data. They work with many of the largest banks, asset managers, insurers, and financial institutions globally, delivering complex consulting engagements that shape the future of the Financial Services industry.
They are expanding their Financial Services sales capability and are hiring multiple Sales Capture Managers to lead complex consulting pursuits across banking, asset management, wealth management, and insurance.
This is not transactional sales and it is not selling software licences or packaged services. The focus is on winning high-value professional services engagements, typically ranging from £1m to £15m, across areas such as strategy, AI, data and insights, operating model transformation, and large-scale business change.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading complex consulting sales pursuits within the Financial Services sector.
- Acting as ‘first chair’ on deals, shaping the sales strategy and coordinating internal teams to win opportunities.
- Building relationships with senior leaders across banking, asset management, wealth management, and insurance organisations.
- Working with consulting and delivery teams to design bespoke transformation solutions for clients.
- Managing long sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and complex buying processes.
- Positioning consulting capabilities across areas such as AI solutions, data and insights, target operating model redesign, and strategic transformation programmes.
- Maintaining strong awareness of Financial Services market trends and using this insight to shape client conversations.
Ideal Background
- 4–8 years’ experience in consultative or complex sales within a professional services or advisory environment.
- Experience selling into Financial Services organisations such as banks, insurers, asset managers, or wealth firms.
- Track record of leading mid-sized consulting or advisory deals (£1m–£15m).
- Background in professional services sales, consulting, advisory, fintech solutions, data and insight services, or legal advisory environments.
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to engage senior decision-makers.
- Experience managing long and complex sales cycles.
- Strategic mindset and the ability to position high-value consulting engagements.
What You’ll Receive
- Salary between £75,000 and £85,000, with potential flexibility up to £90,000.
- £5,700 car allowance.
- Competitive bonus structure.
- The opportunity to lead complex, high-value consulting engagements across the Financial Services sector.
- Exposure to senior stakeholders within major global financial institutions.
Who Should Apply
This role suits consultative sales professionals from professional services environments who are experienced in leading complex deals and engaging with senior leaders within Financial Services organisations.
Candidates coming from transactional software sales, licence-based selling, or commodity IT services environments are unlikely to be the right fit.
